For many years Premier Refractories and Chemicals has manufactured and sold its-super spun-ceramic fiber and proprietary cement products for high temperature insulation and heat protection applications. In 1980, Premier received UL 723 Flammability Classification for its fiber products. Underwriters Laboratories established the surface burning characteristics for Premier board and blanket to be zero flame spread and zero smoke developed.
