RHH Foam Systems Inc.  Slow Rise Systems  3-Part CSI specifications

Slow Rise Systems

The VERSI-FOAMŪ product is available in a 2 pound per cubic foot density with slower reactivity. Where most of our foams are tack free in 30 to 45 seconds, the Slow Rise formula is tack free in approximately 3 minutes. This is useful in applications where the foam needs to flow to distant areas before it solidifies, such as long traces. Please be aware, that the slower cure time does not affect the expansion. The Slow Rise will expand approximately six times its original volume, therefore, the Slow Rise foam is NOT recommended for use in wall cavities where one or more sides of the wall is gypsum wallboard or other material that would not withstand the pressure of the expansion. The slow rise foam has all of the physical characteristics of the Standard VERSI-FOAMŪ systems (System 15 and System 50) with the exception of the reactivity. The only difference is that it cures slower.
