Total Door to distribute and install new revolutionary door lock

Codelocks’ CL5000 Offers Heavy Duty Protection for Commercial and Business Uses

Pontiac, MI, February XX, 2007 – Total Door, a Pontiac-based premier custom door manufacturer, has announced it will begin distributing and installing the Codelocks’ CL5000 door lock, a state-of-the-art device designed specifically for commercial and business uses. Codelocks is a lock manufacturing company based in California. The CL5000, a Grade I device, is a heavy-duty keyless digital lock with full size lever handles, allowing use as the primary lock on most doors, particularly in high traffic situations. “We are pleased to offer our customers this premier lock,” said Mark Leidlein of Total Door. “We developed a new mortise lock mechanism that lets us use the CL5000 with the Total Door locking channel system. We can install this lock during our custom manufacturing process, or retrofitted to existing Total Doors.” The CL5000 features the Piezo actuator, used for the first time in a stand alone electronic lock, providing battery life for more than 500,000 operations, approximately ten times longer life than a typical electronic push button lock. The lock operates using four AA batteries. “This lock provides optimum security for uses such as store rooms, offices or rest rooms,” added Leidlein. “ It is durable, weather resistant and is aesthetically pleasing.”
